Hello and welcome!

My name is Kathrin, and I was born and raised in Switzerland. From a young age, I developed a passion for reading, writing and the environment. I wrote my first book for a school project at age 15.

I trained to be an English and German teacher in Switzerland before moving to England to start my freelance career as a writer and educator.

In the last few years, several of my short stories have been published. I have also written three collaborative children’s books with Fiction Express and won the Fiction Express Level 2 Prize in 2025. I am a citizen scientist with the University of Sussex’s BuzzClub and since summer 2026, I run environmental education workshops at Broomfield Park in North London.
